At Eat Kid Friendly we’re in the business of reviewing kid friendly restaurants, so we thought it would be a great idea to compile some of our favorite spots in our home city of St Louis! If you’re looking for unique and original restaurants that are also distinctly kid friendly this list is for you. We picked five of our favorite restaurants in the St Louis area that fall right in the middle of parent friendly and kid friendly. Each destination offers plenty for the little ones but also serves up delicious food and drinks.

With 14 different craft sodas and 11 different craft beers every member of your family will be able to find something new to try that they love! Meanwhile, every seat in the house offers a view of the Fitz’s soda production line that cranks out a bottle per second! The backdrop offers a great distraction for the kids while they wait for their food to arrive. For dessert you can turn any of their delicious soda flavors into a float! And don’t forget about the delicious cocktails made with Fitz’s sodas for mom and dad.

Boathouse Forest Park

The Boathouse in Forest Park has an obvious perk, before or after your meal you can schedule a boat ride with the family and make a day of your dinner plans. There’s also outdoor seating so you can bring your dogs too. If you’re out walking with the kids and the dogs in Forest Park it’s the perfect place to stop for dinner!

What kid doesn’t like pizza? And with a wide menu of specialty pizzas and salads there’s sure to be something the grown ups with love too. Just like Fitz’s, Dewey’s offers a great view of the production line. If there’s a wait for a table the kids can peer through the glass and watch pizzas being made. Some of the pizza makers even put on a show and toss flour at the glass to surprise the kids! Once you’re in your seats the kids can still check on their pizza and the adults can enjoy one of the 8 beers they have on tap or maybe a glass of wine instead.

The Old Spaghetti Factory caters to kids in a number of ways. On top of a huge kids menu OSF offers a Kids Birthday Club along with a Reading Rewards Program. If your child reads five books they receive a free kids meal! The Italian based menu offers a great selection of pastas for everyone, and their kid’s menu includes great treats like the popular Cotton Candy Limeade! They also have plenty of alcoholic beverage options for the parents including cocktails, beer and wine.

Llywelyn’s Pub
Llywelyn’s might be difficult to spell but it’s easy to enjoy a meal with the whole family! They offer nine different kids meal options that even come with a Llywelyn’s temporary tattoo. They also have numerous beers that rotate through the taps week-to-week for the adults. If you’re looking for outdoor seating they have that too so you can let the kids roam while you enjoy a brew on the patio.
